What Boom Pump Services
Does Hat City Offer?
A boom pump is a truck-mounted concrete pump with an articulating arm that places concrete at height and distance. We operate three boom pump sizes to match reach and access to each job.
20-Meter Boom Pump
Tight residential sites, narrow driveways, backyard pours, and properties where a full-size truck would struggle to position.
40-Meter Boom Pumps (4 in fleet)
Foundation pours, commercial floor slabs, multi-story work, and the majority of jobs across the service area.
50-Meter Boom Pump
Maximum-reach situations including high-rise concrete pumping, large commercial projects, and any job a standard boom cannot reach.
All operators hold ACPA certification.

What Is Line
Pumping?
Line pumping delivers concrete at grade through a pump hose run directly off our boom pump trucks to the pour location — the right approach for flatwork, confined basement pours, crawl spaces, and sites with overhead obstructions. Hat City does not use separate trailer-mounted pump units. Operators run hose off the back of the boom truck, keeping the equipment count low on tight sites. Full details are on the line pumping page.
No Separate Trailer Units
Hose runs directly off the boom truck — fewer pieces of equipment on site, faster setup, less disruption on confined pours.
What Residential Concrete Pumping Services Are Available?
Residential concrete pumping covers foundation pours, basement slabs, driveways, patios, pool shells, and backyard pours. The 20-meter boom pump is especially well-suited for residential lots with limited access - wooded properties, steep grades, and in-fill lots where getting a ready mix truck close is not practical. Our operators coordinate directly with the concrete supplier and general contractor to keep the schedule on track. More detail is on the residential concrete pumping page.
What Commercial and Industrial Concrete Pumping Does Hat City Provide?
Commercial concrete pumping at Hat City covers elevated slabs, multi-story builds, grade beams, large-volume pours, and infrastructure work. The 40-meter and 50-meter boom pumps handle commercial sites with enough reach to service multi-story decks and complicated pour sequences without repositioning. Hat City Concrete Pumping is licensed and insured for commercial and industrial work in both CT and NY, with ACPA certified crews working alongside general contractors and project managers on deadline-sensitive schedules. We have been operating since 2014. Full information is on the commercial concrete pumping page.
